Anger is one of seven basic emotions God hardwires into every person. Its purpose is to act as a springboard to prompt man to right an injustice against the helpless. Satan utilizes man's selfish nature to use anger to further his own desires and purposes, building a stronghold of anger which may drive one to violence and sometimes even murder.
