Deception was the first scheme Satan used against mankind. Eve's explanation, when God ask her why she disobeyed His command was, "The serpent deceived me. (Gen. 3:13) It is also the last scheme Satan uses against mankind. Rev. 20:7 says "Satan will go out to deceive the nations."
A Stronghold of Deception is built when one is deceived into believing something that is not true. Demons deceive people into believing lies about God, life, themselves and others.
